The title catching my eye this week on the front page of The Economist is "Free speech and hypocrisy".
It reminds me of this french strip
Free speech means you can talk, not that you'll be listen to
As everyone you will most likely listen to what you agree with, an explanation that strengthen your beliefs, or a promise that someone else will solve your problems.
Politicians and marketers have learned this all too well:

- Buy my brand (clothe, cars, perfumes, jewels,...) and all your social problems are solved, beautiful men/women will search you.
